MINI CHEER "SPARKLERS" 8 YRS AND YOUNGER LEVEL 1 CHEER The team member will be learning sharp motion technique with solid placement. Team member willl learn beginning jumps with proper technique and with good height and execution. The team member will learn to demonstrate a forward and backward roll, cartwheel, round-off and back walkovers. Team member will learn beginning forward tumbling passes. The team member will work towards a standing back handspring. The team will learn beginning stunting skills and learn the importance of safety. (knee stands, thigh stands, prep) The team member will learn to have good overall cheer performance skills and will become physically fit and demonstrate strength in stunting ability. The mini team will learn how to behave in a sportsmanlike manner and respect all other teams and coaches. YOUTH TEAM "FUSE" 11YRS AND YOUNGER LEVEL 2 CHEER The team member should demonstrate sharp motion technique with solid placement. Will learn combination jumps with proper technique and with good height and execution. The team member will learn solid cartwheel, round-off, standing back handspring, multiple back handsprings, front walkover and front handsprings. The team member will learn forward and backward tumbling passes. The team member will demonstrate good overall cheer performance skills, be physically fit. The team member will learn and demonstrate intermediate stunting skill and learn the importance of safety. (prep, full, single leg prep, 1/4 twists, pyramids, baskets) The youth team will demonstrate sportsmanlike behavior and will demonstrate respect for all other teams and coaches. SENIOR TEAM "NITRO" 18 YRS OLD AND YOUNGER LEVEL 2 moving to LEVEL 4.2 CHEER The team member should demonstrate sharp motion technique with solid placement, level or hyper-extended jump combinations with solid technique. Team members will learn to execute toe touches into back handsprings The team member will be able to demonstrate a solid cartwheel, round-off. Team member will learn a back and front handspring, multiple back handsprings and forward and backward tumbling passes. Team members will learn back tucks, punch fronts and whips. The team members will learn and demonstrate intermediate to advanced stunting skills and learn the importance of safety. (prep, full, full downs, single leg full, combination pyramids, baskets)The senior team will demonstrate the ability to learn stunts and dance material quickly. The senior team will have excellent performance skills and will perform and behave in a sportsmanlike manner and will demonstrate respect for all other teams and coaches. |

| LEVEL 1 Tumbling, Prep Ballet and Beginner tap Ages 3 to 5 Beginning skills and definition of terminology are the main focus at this level. Learning beginning skills stretching and strengthen skills. Beginning skills listed: forward rolls, backward rolls, backbend, handstand, cartwheel, round-offs, front and back walkovers. This class prepares students for beginning levels of dance with combination of Prep Ballet and tap, creative movement. Emphasis is placed on eye/hand-eye/foot motor coordination, lengthening attention span, timing & musicality, lesson etiquette, developing the teacher/student relationship, self confidence and working with peer groups. In order to move up in tumbling postion of class to Level 2 the student must demonstrate skills including, but not limited to: strong rolls, cartwheels, round-offs and back walkover. A standing back handspring with a light spot; plus proper body placement in all skills. LEVEL 2 Tumbling, Basic Ballet and Beginner Tap Ages 6 - 8 A fundamental class for developing handstand, backbends, round-off, front and back walkovers, one handed cartwheel, aerial cartwheel, standing back handspring, front handspring and standing back tuck. Basic Ballet introduces elementary exercises for mastering the placement of the body, legs, arms and head. Developing elementary skills in the coordination of the steps. Basic musicality and rhythm safe and healthy rotation mechanisms and the proper serious attitude toward the art. Beginning tap introduces rythm and show tap basic steps. In order to move to Level 3 tumbling the student must demonstrate skills in level 1 and including, but not limited to: strong roud-offs, standing back handspring, round-off back handspring and spotted standing back tuck. The round-off with mutliple back handsprings. All skills must have proper body placement. |

| Ballet Basic Level 1 Ages 5 and younger Emphasis is placed on eye/hand-eye/foot motor coordination, lengthening attention span, timing & musicality, lesson etiquette, developing the teacher/student relationship, self confidence and working with peer groups. Ballet Level 2 Ages 7 to 10 This level studies and repeats ballet level one exercises in an increased number, stressing the development of the legs and feet through exercises on demi-pointe, and furthering of coordination between movements. Ballet Level 3 Ages 10 to 13 In this level the study of center exercise on 1/2 pointe begins. Excercises on turns are begun, and foundation work for "en pointe" is also started.
